Determination: This 10 day of Aoril 2020 the following alterations have been approved with
no conditions.
Project Details and Review Criteria
The applicant is undertaking work on the second floor, Unit 7A, to replace all non -historic windows with
like for like replacements. No changes will be made to the dimensions or architectural details of the
window openings.
• Replace 7 windows on the north (front) elevation, io windows on the west elevation, and 3
windows on the south (alley) elevation. A total of 20 windows will be replaced.
The project qualifies for a Certificate of No Negative Effect according to Section 26.415.07o.B of the
Municipal Code as it entails replacement of fenestration to a historic landmark in the Commercial Core
Historic District.
Based on a review of the applicable Historic Preservation Design Guidelines and the Commercial,
Lodging and Historic District Design Standards and Guidelines, staff finds that the work will not diminish,
eliminate or adversely affect the significant historic and/or architectural character of the subject
property on which it is located and that the design guidelines applicable to this scope of work are met,
with no conditions.

not exempt the applicant from complying with all City codes, including land use and building codes.
