Dear Garrett,
Thank you for your thorough review of the Gorsuch Haus – Detailed Review land use
application. In response to the Determination of Completeness dated March 13, 2020 the
Applicant has prepared the missing submission items to complete the land use application.
1. The Applicant has updated the Permission to Represent letter with a signature from
the Aspen Skiing Company (owner of the property) authorizing Design Workshop to
submit the land use application on behalf of Norway Island, LLC.
2. The Applicants written response has been updated per the Commercial Design
Guidelines – Mountain Base Area – Final Review Design Guidelines.
3. An Outdoor Lighting Plan is included to supplement the outdoor lighting narrative.
4. Existing Landscape Plan P005 has been updated to identify the diameter and value
of trees to be removed. A sheet titled L0-04 Tree Removal Summary Sheet was not
included in the Application, reference to this sheet has been removed. We have
included a tree survey report completed by Aspen Tree Service in 2016, which
supports the tree mitigation fees.
5. The finalized Mudflow Report was to be included within Appendix C. Exhibit 3
Engineering Report. An updated Engineering Report is included in this delivery
where the Mudflow Report is now located (pg.76).
With the submittal of these missing items, we look forward to a Letter of Completeness for
the Gorsuch Haus – Detailed Review land use application. We understand that throughout
the review process the Applicant may be requested to provide additional information as
deemed necessary by the Community Development Department.
