As requested, we visited the above site on December 8, 2022 to observe the existing structural systems. At the
time of the site visit we were given access to the empty tenant space with the overhead structure visible.The
existing structure was observed to be metal deck spanning between steel beams and girders, supported by
several steel columns within the space.The floor slab had not been poured yet, but the under-slab vapor/radon
barrier was in place covering the subgrade of the unit.The exterior walls of the unit were observed to be cast-in-
place concrete.
We also reviewed the Poss Architecture plan A-101 —Basement Level Floor Plan drawing dated 09-08-11
received via email on December 5, 2022, which we understand is from the original construction document
drawings for the building.This drawing demonstrates interior column elements that correspond with the
interior columns observed at the site.The proposed tenant improvement plan sketch, also received via email on
December 5, 2022, show these same columns are to remain in place.
Based on our observations at the site in conjunction with the drawing review noted above, it appears that the
proposed tenant improvement plan for the unit noted will not impact the primary structural systems. If it is
determined that modifications to the primary structural systems are needed for this tenant improvement, we
shall be notified to review the proposed modifications for evaluation of the structural ramifications. Should you
