The drawings show a single family residence, approximately 2,700 square feet in size with an attached garage and a finished basement. We understand that as a part of the remodel, many of the interior walls will be reconfigured and/or removed. Prior to removal or demolition of any interior walls or framing members, internal wall and ceiling finishes shall be partially removed to allow observation of the structural system. Once the structure is visible, we shall be contacted to perform a structural observation of the exposed structure in order to determine the structural implications of the proposed modifications. Demolition or removal of any framing members shall not proceed until this visit is completed. If structural reinforcement, strengthening, or modifications are necessary, we can provide sealed structural plans and details as required.
