Tree removal is related to the interior/exterior remodel project with building permit # 0113-2021-BRES. Trees to be retained which will have driplines impacted or accessed must be protected the specifications of this permit and the tree protection zone fencing will be approved by the City forester prior to being set up and breaking of ground. Call the City Forester/ Parks Dept. for further direction. (970)920-5120. Roots may not bee cut prior to inspection by the Parks Dept. READ THE ATTACHMENTS TO THIS PERMIT for all fencing, tree protection, and tree care on the site. The tree(s) approved for removal have been assigned a value using a standard formula developed for all trees found within the City of Aspen. The formula is as follows: Value=$46.00 x 3.14 x (D/2)2, where D is the diameter of the tree at breast height. The total mitigation value assessed for the trees to be removed is $731 No trees are proposed be planted on the property to offset mitigation as part of this project. The total net mitigation owed is $731.00 which must be paid cash-in-lieu to the City of Aspen. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: Unless otherwise allowed, TREES MAY NOT BE REMOVED UNTIL THE ASSOCIATED BUILDING PERMIT OR OTHER APPLICABLE PERMITS HAVE BEEN ISSUED and up-to-date stamped tree permit submittal documents have been approved by the City Forester and stamped by the Building Dept. All subsequent rounds of reviews and change orders must be reviewed by the City Forester.
