GRADE respectfully submits the following information and responses to the plan review comments from
10/16/2023:
Comment:
1. Sheet T-004.00 - DIMENSION THE OVERLAP WITH THE TURN RADIUS AND BENCH CORNER TO SHOW
YOU ARE NOT EXCEEDING TOE CLEARANCE ALLOWANCES UNDER THE BENCH FOR TURNING
PURPOSES.
Response:
Both the allowable overlap and actual overlap are dimensioned to show the turning radius is in
compliance. The revision is clouded on sheet T-004.00.
Comment:
2. PROVIDE A SIGNED AND STAMPED STRUCTURAL VERIFICATION LETTER FOR THE PROPOSED DEMO
OR EXPLICITYLY CALL OUT PARTITIONS BEING REMOVED AS NON-STRUCTURAL ON A SHEET YOU
STAMP AND SIGN.SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ASSESSING WHETHER THESE
WALLS ARE STRUCTURAL.
Response:
The walls scheduled for demolition have been probed and the AOR confirms none of the removed walls
shown on the demolition plan are load bearing. A note stating as such is clouded on the signed and
sealed sheet DM-100.00. In addition, a demo RCP has been added showing the recessed ceiling lights
that will need to be removed to address the COMCheck comment.
