You will need to talk to Tracy about their process. There is one joint position that the COA and Pitkin County must approve together. If we receive the application, I forward it on with the BoCC's decision asking for approval from the council. When a term expires (April for Pitkin County) I send out renewal reminders to anyone who has a term expiring in April. Members choosing to reapply must complete a renewal form on our website. Interviews are not required for anyone reapplying to the Animal Shelter Board. Once all applications have been received, I present the list of renewals and anyone applying for a new position to the BoCC for approval and then follow up with a resolution. Members receive a letter from the BoCC letting them know of their reappointment. Also, if you see any information about the board on the attached document (meeting time and location) please let me know and I can make changes.
