11:15 AM Call to Order
• Approval of meeting minutes from January 20, 2026
• Public comment, open forum, 3 minutes
11:35 AM Discussion items:
• Board Business:
o Vote to Move Emily Kolbe to regular member
o Move Jackie Matthews to first alternate
o On May 11, Council will discuss term limits concerning KF and Wheeler Boards. Discuss and
draft recommendations/requests from the KFAB.
o The City Clerk will be advertising for the second alternate in May. If you know anyone who
would be a complement to our board, please refer them to this link to apply:

• Kids First Quality Improvement Grants and Professional Development Grants: requests and approvals
• Financial Aid: our latest deadline to apply was February 1. We received 9 applications, 4 will be
funded, 2 are over income, 1 family member is not working, 2 will be referred to CCCAP.
• CCCAP funding continues
• City Council priority Projects:
o #1 Provider Base Support- we are interviewing directors to determine the highest impact and
greatest needs for this funding. Once the interviews are complete , we will design a proposal
to present to City Council in early summer.

meeting in December

12:45 PM Executive Session
Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402 (4)(a) The purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of any real, personal, or other
property interests except that no executive session shall be held for the purpose of concealing the fact that a member of the
local public body has a personal interest in such purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer or sale; (4)(b)Conferences with an
attorney for the local public body for purposes of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions; and (4)(e), Determinin g
positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations, and instructing
negotiators.
The specific items of discussion involve the following:
1. The lease, transfer or acquisition of real property or property interests, and contract
negotiations, and communication with counsel regarding such subjects . Due to market
forces, negotiation strategies and confidentiality demands of parties involved, and
necessitated by the subject of the specific legal advice, which further disclosure would be a
detriment to the City’s strategic position, the exact properties cannot be disclosed.
