HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.084-26I i� (Series of 2026) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXERCISE ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT OF CHANGE ORDERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE MAIN STREET INLET AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CHANGE ORDERS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ASPEN. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council a contract for Main Street inlet and pedestrian improvements in the amount of $697,606.56, between the City of Aspen and Stutsman Gerbaz Inc, a true and accurate copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; V�JHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is in the best interest of the City of Aspen to authorize the City Manager to exercise administrative oversight of change orders associated with said Stutsman Gerbaz Inc. contract for amounts not to exceed $124,707.07 and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, That the City Council of the City of Aspen does hereby authorize the City Manager to exercise administrative oversight of any change orders associated with the aforementioned contract between the City and Stutsman Gerbaz Inc. for amounts not to exceed $124,707.07 and execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado. RESOLVED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED FINALLY by the City Council of the City of Aspen on the 23 rd day of June 2026.
