A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXERCISE
ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT OF CHANGE ORDERS FOR THE
CEMETERY LANE MULTIMODAL INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT
CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SAID CHANGE ORDERS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council a contract for
Cemetery Lane multimodal intersection improvements between the City of Aspen
and Excavation Services, Inc., in the amount of $442,652.14 via Resolution #088,
Series of 2026,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is in the best interest of the
City of Aspen to authorize the City Manager to exercise administrative oversight
of change orders associated with the Excavation Services, Inc. contract for
amounts not to collectively exceed $88,530.43 and execute said change orders on
behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
That the City Council of the City of Aspen does hereby authorize the City
Manager to exercise administrative oversight of any change orders to the
Excavation Services, Inc. contract for amounts not to exceed $88,530.43 and
execute said change orders on behalf of the City of Aspen, Colorado.

Council of the City of Aspen on the 14th day of July 2026.
