A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ASPEN, COLORADO, APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ASPEN AND TURNER, COLLLIE & BRADEN, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council an Amendment to the
Professional Service Agreement between the City of Aspen, Colorado and Turner, Colllie &
Braden, Inc, a copy of which is annexed hereto and part thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCiL OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO.
Section One
That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby approves that an Amendment to the
Professional Service Agreement between the City of Aspen, Colorado, and Turner, Colllie &
Braden, Inc, regarding Burlingame Ranch Affordabl. e Housing Project, a copy of which is
annexed hereto and incorporated herein, and does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute
said Amendment to the Agreement on behalf of the City of Aspen.

Subject: Professional Services for Engineering and Construction Estimates
Dear Ed:
To augment prcvious work done by the City of Aspen, Turner Collie & Braden is pleased to
provide the City with Engineering at~d Construction Estimate support for the Burlingane Ranch
Affordable Housing Project. This is a Non-Project Specific Scope of Sen, ices proposal under
our existing contract with the City of Aspen Engineering Department. The projected amount of
this contract will be the Not-To-Exceed price o£ $27,228.53 and billed in accordance with the
rate schedule contained in our contract with the Man-hour breakdown attached. The anticipated
submittal date for deliverables is December 31, 2003 and after comments have been received the
final completion date will be January 31, 2003 unless otherwise directed.
We appreciate the opportunity to do work for the City of Aspen and'look forward m displaying
our capabilities of ottr new office to you and the rest of the City's staff. If you have any

Schedule. The estimated completion date for all work is December 31, 2002. The completion dare
for arxy other tasks shall be set in that specific directive from the COA staffwill be January 31.2003.
Paymem for this work will be payroll factor compensation with an amoum not to exceed $27.228.53.
The payroll multiplier for this project has been reduced to 2.95.
Other Engln~ering Support
On an as-needed basis the CO,a, staff will direct TCB to support other planning, engineering and
constraction efforts for the capital ~mprovmnems that are taking place in association with the
project.' The issuance of individual Task Orders will never go beyond the not to exceed total
amount of $27.228.53 or the completion date of January 31, 2002 without written direction from
the COA Asset Management Staff.
