Hyman DATE: October 15, 2002 ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------ SUMMARY: The Woods Family has applied for an interior remodel of 432 E. Hyman (i.e. Aspen Drug). As part of the remodel the applicant is converting 181 square feet of storage space into an office, therefore adding addition net leasable square footage. Section 26.470.070(D)(3)(a) allows the Community Development Director to approve a GMQS exemption for historic landmark properties to add net leasable square footage or floor area ratio but not both. LOCATION: 432 E. Hyman Avenue, Lot R & S, Block 88, City and Townsite of Aspen, Colorado. Parcel ID#2737-073-39-013. ZONING: "CC," Commercial Core. APPLICANT: Woods Family Partnership. STAFF REVIEW: Per Section 26.470.070(D)(3)(a), GMQS Exemptions for Historic Landmarks, Enlargement for Use as a Commercial or Office Development, the Community Development Director may allow conversion of a non net leasable storage space into an office space which is considered net leasable.
