HomeMy WebLinkAboutminutes.hpc.20030312 ASPEN HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES OF MARCH 12~ 2003 Vice-chair Jeffrey Halferty called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Commissioners in attendance: Michael Hoffman, Teresa Melville, Derek Skalko, Valerie Alexander and Neill Hirst. Staff present: Intern, Katie Ertmer Assistant City Attorney, David Hoefer Deputy Clerk, Jackie Lothian Disclosure: Michael will recuse himself on 128 E. Main- Sardy House. SARDY HOUSE - 128 E. MAIN Sworn in: Frank Peters & Daniel Delano Affidavit of notice entered into the record as Exhibit I. Katie relayed that the proposal is to install an air-conditioner in the back of the property. They will need a variance to go into the setback. The location is in between the non-historic part of the Sardy house and the Qwest building behind it. It will not be visible from the street. Staffis recOmmending approval. Frank said the Sardy house desires to install hotel air-conditioning as a request from numerous guests, This is a result of street noise affecting the guests. MOTION: Teresa moved to approve Resolution #5, 2003which is an application to install a unit at the back of the Sardy house; second by Derek. All in favor, motion carried 5-0. Yes vote: Neill, Teresa, Valerie, Derek, Jeffrey 28 SMUGGLER - WORKSESSION NO- MINUTES MOTION: Teresa moved to adjourn; second by Derek. All in favor, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5.'45p. m.
