HomeMy WebLinkAbout21_UTILITIES21.1Utilities utilities section 21 21.2 Bar Slash X Ranch LLC - Annexation and Stage Road PUD/Subdivision: Final Submission Utilities Section 1.H.b.1 of the Preannexation Agreement states that “The Landowner shall not be required to provide detailed engineering design of either potable water or sanitary sewer in its final plat submission, and all final approvals, annexation and establishment of vested rights shall not be delayed as a consequence of this.” Nevertheless, City staff requested a utility plan be submitted giving a “best guess” version of utility layout including water and sewer, and this plan is included here. It has been prepared with the most current information from SGM and the Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District. All utilities, including existing overhead electrical lines, will be undergrounded. The only exception will be existing electrical poles that provide overhead connections to customers outside the boundaries of the ranch. Please note that the ranch buildings and the Maroon Creek cabin will be served by exempt wells, but have the right to connect to municipal water supply. Following the utility plan are letters of commitment to provide utility connections from: • Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District • Holy Cross Energy • Kinder Morgan • Qwest • ComCast Cable Communications Commitment to provide potable water to the subdivision is contained in the Water Service Agreement attached to the Pre-Annexation Agreement (see Section 29). Following the commitment letters is a utility plansheet. Note that this utility plansheet gives an overview of the utility plan only.
