HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.apz.013-99P&Z Resolution 99-13 Page 1 of 2 RESOLUTION OFTHE ASPEN PLANNINO AND ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO SECTION 26.28.220, CONSERVATION ZONE DISTRICT, D. DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS, 11. EXTERNAL FLOOR AREA RATIO OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE Resolution #99- 13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 26.92, applications to amend the text of Title 26 of the Municipal Code shall be reviewed and recommended for approval, approval with conditions, or denial by the Community Development Director and then by the Platming and Zoning Commission at a public hearing. Final action shall be by City Council after reviewing and considering these recommendations; and, WHEREAS, the Community Development Director reviewed the recommended revisions as outlined herein and recommended approval; and, WHEREAS, during a public hearing at a meeting on July 6, 1999, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended, by a six to zero (6-0) vote, the City Council approve the amendments to 26.28.220, Conservation Zone District, D. Dimensional requirements, 11. External floor area ratio as proposed by the Community Development Department. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission: That City Council is advised to adopt amendments to 26.28.220, Conservation Zone District, D. Dimensional requirements, 11. Externalfloor area ratio of the Municipal Code, making said Section read as follows: 11. External floor area ratio: (Applies to conforming and nonconforming lots of record): Lot Size Detached Residential Dwellings (Square Feet) Allowable Square Feet 0--3,000 80 square feet of floor area for each 100 square feet in lot area. up to a maximum of 2,400 square feet of floor area. 3,000--9,000 2,400 square feet of floor area, plus 28 square feet of floor area for each additional 100 square feet in lot area, up to a maxnnum of 4,080 square feet of floor area.
