Charles Paterson, chairman, opened the City of Aspen Board of Adjustment meeting
at 4:05 p.m. with members Rick Head, Jim Iglehart and David Schott present.
Howard DeLuca was excused. City staff in attendance were: David Hoefer,
Assistant City Attorney; Sara Thomas, Community Development Zoning Officer;
Jackie Lothian, Deputy City Clerk.
MINUTES
MOTION: Rick Head moved to approve minutes from Case #98-03,
February 11, 1999. Jim Iglehart second. APPROVED 4-0.
MOTION: Rick Head moved to a pprove minutes from Case #99-01,
January 14, 1999. David Schott second. APPROVED 4-0.
PUBLIC HEARING:
CASE #99-03 ASPEN MOLLY GIBSON LODGE, 101 WEST MAIN
David Hoefer, Assistant City Attorney, noted that all four members had to vote
affirmative for motion to be approved.
Charlie Paterson asked about the height limitation. Sara Thomas stated there was a
25’ height limit. The planner for the applicant, Francis Krizmanich, stated that he
would re-draw the plans to comply or re-notice. Krizmanich requested a
continuance of the public hearing to include the fifth member.
MOTION: Rick Head moved to continue the public hearing on Case
#99-02 to April 22, 1999 at 4:00 p.m. David Schott second. APPROVED
4-0.
The meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
