Jasmine Tygre, Chairperson, opened the regular Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting in Sister Cities Meeting Room at 4:30 p.m. Eric Cohen, Ruth Kruger, Bert
Myrin, Ron Erickson, Roger Haneman and Jasmine Tygre were present. Bob Blaich
and Steven Buettow were excused. Staffin attendance were: David Hoefer, Assistant
City Attorney; Fred Jarman, Joyce Ohlson, Community Development; Jackie Lothian,
Deputy City Clerk.
COMMISSIONER, STAFF and PUBLIC COMMENTS
Jasmine Tygre stated that a member of the public inquired about ZELE expanding the
business into a full restaurant. Joyce Ohlson stated that there was no table service but
she would check into the change.
Jasmine ~[ygre congratulated Ron Erickson on his volunteer of the year stares.
Ron Erickson asked about the Harley Baldwin problem. Joyce Ohlson replied that
Sarah Oates was working on it.
Ruth Kruger thanked staff for the appreciation party at the Wheeler.
MINUTES
MOTION: Ron Erickson moved to approve the minutes from 11/20/01,
11/13/01 and 04/25/00. Roger Haneman seconded. APPROVED 6-0

CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING (04/17/01, 06/05/01, 07/10/01, 08/21/01,
10/02/01, 10/16/01, 11/06/01):
629 WEST SMUGGLER - LANDMARK DESIGNATION
Jasmine Tygre opened the continued public hearing for the landmark designation
on 629 West Smuggler. David Hoefer stated that because of the nature of the case
the notice of 04/17/01 would be sufficient for the commission to proceed.
