HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.apz.006-01 RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION APPROVING OF THE ASPEN GOLF AND TENNIS CLUB/TRUscoTT HOUSING OUTDOOR LIGHTING PLAN, CITY OF ASPEN, PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, PARCEL NOS. 2735-11i-09-702 & 2735-111-09-001 Resolution //01-06 WHEREAS, the Community Development Department received an application from the City of Aspen and the Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority, applicant, for an Outdoor Lighting Plan for the Tmscott Affordable Housing and Aspen Golf and Tennis Club PUD (the project); and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Aspen City Council Ordinance 34, Series of 2000, the project was granted Final PUD approval, subject to the conditions contained in the Ordinance; and, WHEREAS, as a condition of the Final PUD approval for the project the applicant was required to gain approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Outdoor Lighting Plan; and, WHEREAS, the Aspen Community Development Deparm~em reviewed the proposed Final PUD and recommended approval with conditions; and, WHEREAS, during a regular meetiug on March 6, 2001, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the recommendation of the Community Development Director and approved, by a five to zero 5-0 vote, the Outdoor Lighting Plan for the project, subject to conditions of approval listed hereinafter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission hereby approves the Outdoor Lighting Plan for the Truscott Affordable Housing and Aspen Golf and Tennis Club PUD, subject to the conditions of approval listed hereinafter. 1. The approved Outdoor Lighting Plan is that document titled "Lighting and Electrical Plan" dated January 15, 2001, and addendum fixture detail sheets as submitted to the community development Department and dated January 29, 200l. 2.The Outdoor Lighting Plan (less the fixture detail sheets) shall be considered an addendum to the Final PUD Plans. 3. Changes to the Outdoor Lighting Plan shall be considered according to the procedures for amending an approved Planned Unit Development. Additional bollard lighting may be added to the golf cart storage area if found necessary. 4. One year after issuance ora Certificate of Occupancy for the last building of phases 1 & 2, them shall be a meeting between planning and housing staffto review the site lighting and determine if any lighting changes are necessary. Residents of the project shall be notified of the review and be encouraged to comment on the site lighting.
