Criteria: Colorado grown, made, produced and manufactured.
Products will be chosen on diversity and merchandising mix.
Market dates are June 12th, 2004 through Oct.23rd.
Application deadline is January 16th. Please submit completed
application to the City Clerk's officel
Application fees $350. for a 10 x 10 space. Artisan vendors are
restricted to a 10 x 10 space.
A ch.eck must accompany application.
Hearings begin February4th at 8:30 a.m. in the Sister Cities
Meeting Room, City Hall.
Information:
Each exhibitor must obtain:
(1) City of Aspen Business License for $50.
(In shared booths, every individual must have a business license)
(2) Colorado Sales tax license.
Fee includes music, advertising, banner, insurance.
Set up time. 7:30 to 8:30. You are expected to be open for business
from 8:30 until 3:30 rain or shine.
Vendors must commit to the entire season.
City sign code - booth sign not to exceed 6 square feet. (lx6) (2x3)
Vendor to supply tables, canopy, trash containers.
Local Businesses - Local Arts and Crafts - Not-For-Profit Booth
Vendors must be approved by the CCLC at a regular meeting.

2003wrap-up
1. Majority will accept some kind of increase.
2. Chili burner needs re-designed. Vendors told not to have trucks on the street but
farmers are allowed. (clear up disparity)
3. Be strict that items are handmade in Colorado.
4. Map listing booth contents and services.
5. Hours and demonstrations fine - best at Alpine Bank comer.
6. All like their locations and partners.
7. The merchandise mix is good. Addition of artisans makes the market more
exciting.
8. Change of venue for demonstrations bring people to Hunter Street.
9. Define vendor's setup area so to respect each vendor's access,
10. Strive for more excellence in exhibitors. Quality over quantity.
11. Rewarding opportunity. Success for the community and its growth.
12. Artisans setting up '/2 hour after the farmers works.
13. Majority want same spot next year.
