RESOLUTION NO. 1-
Series of 1998
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, NAMING THE RIGHT-OF- WAY
AT THE END OF SPRING STREET IN THE CITY OF ASPEN AS REMO PARK.
WHEREAS, the end of North Spring Street is a dead end street at the Roaring Fork
River, extending from the edge of the river some thirty five (35) feet north to the edge of the
Spring Street roadway; and
WHEREAS, said right-of-way functions as a "pocket park" and provides public access to
the Roaring Fork River; and
WHEREAS, a bench in the pocket park has been dedicated in memory of Remo
Lavignino, a former resident of Oklahoma Flats and a member of the City's Board of
Adjustments for a number of years;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO:

Section One
That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby names the right-of-way at the end of
N. Spring S1. as Remo Park.
