Re: Holiday promotional Table
During the holiday season, we are requesting thc maximum number of days on the mall
(kiRy' comer from the Paradis~ Bakery where the summer kiosk is)in order to promote
awareness of our project ~o build a new county/city animal shelter (breaking ground in
spring 2004). We will have the table attended by 1-2 people and a couple of shelter
animals looking for homes. In addition we will be accepting donations and have
information about the new shelter. We will be OFFERING memorial or honorary bricks
for the shelter (for a donation o£$100 as well as offering animal shelter items {bandanas,
caps, ~te...) for a donation. The times we are intending to be there are 1 lam-5 pm on the
following dates (weather permitting)

Describe products you intend to sell.
#Attach photos, brochure or slides of product(s). Include all products
you intend to sell in your booth. Any changes or additions to product
line must be approved by CCLC.
Criteria: Colorado grown, made, produced and manufactured.
Products will be chosen on diversity, quality, and merchandising mix.
Vendors will be chosen from Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. Must
show proof of residency for two years.
Market dates are June 12th, through Oct. 23, 2004.
Application deadline is January 16th. Please submit completed
application to the City Clerk's office.
Application fees $400. for a 10 x 10 space payable to ASFMG. Artisan
vendors are restricted to a 10 x 10 space.
A check must accompany application. Check will be deposited after vendor
acceptance into the market. Booth fee will not be refunded after July 12th.
Booth fee includes music, advertising, banner, insurance and market
manager, food demonstrations, sanitation facilities, traffic management.
Selection process begins February 4th at 8:30 a.m. in the Sister Cities
Meeting Room, downstairs at City Hall.

At this meeting exhibitor must show proof of:
(1) City of Aspen Business License for $150. plus $50. sales tax deposit.
(In shared booths, every individual must have a business license)
(2) Copy of Colorado Sales tax form.
Ali vendors must pay sales tax MONTHLY. *If vendor does not pay
sales tax they will be excluded from the market.
Set up time. 7:30 to 8:30 am. You are expected to be open for business
from 8:30 until 3:30 rain or shine.
Vendors must commit to the entire season.
City sign code - booth sign not to exceed 6 square feet. (lx6) (2x3)
Vendor to supply tables, canopy, trash containers.
