The Council understands that Mr. William Lipsey has been designated as the project coordinator between Chiba and Colorado for this competition. The Council believes that this kind of activity bringing Japanese dollars to America in order to purchase the skills and talents of American Planners and designers is good and healthy for the inbalance of trade and the future positive relations between Japan and the United States. Dated: ~ ~2 5--- 1988. William L. Stirling, Mayor I, Kathryn S. Koch, duly appointed and acting City Clerk do certify that the foregoing is a true and accurate copy of that resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Aspen Colorado, as a meeting held d5~7~ /~5> , 1988.
