HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.026-91 . a e ATTACHMENT B RESOLUTION NO. 26 (Series of 199~ A RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN CITY COUNCIL GRANTnm A GHQS EXEMPl'ION FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE cmuSTIANIA LODGE, LOTS E & F, BLOCK 31, ASPEN COLORADO WHEREAS, steen Gantze1 has submitted an application for the conversion of approximately 530-600 square feet of below grade basement space into a one bedroom employee dwelling unit; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their May 7, 1991 meeting reviewed the affordable housing proposal and recommends to the City Council the approval of the exemption with the conditions; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section Municipal Code, the City council may the provision of affordable housing. 24-8-104 C.1(c) of the grant a GMQS Exemption for NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1: That is does hereby grant a GMQS Exemption for affordable housing with the following conditions: 1. The size of the unit shall be approximately 530-600 square feet. 2. Prior to the issuance of any building permits, the applicant shall file a deed restriction for review and approval by the Hous ing Authority. A copy of the deed restriction shall be forwarded to the Planning Department for recordation. The unit shall be deed restricted to the Category 1 income and price guidelines as adopted and enforced by the Housing Authority in effect at the time of building permit issuance. The unit shall be for rental purposes only but it is not necessary to be used only by employees of the Lodge. 3. Prior to the issuance of any building permits, the applicant shall have received a minor review approval from the Historic Preservation Committee. 4. All material representations made by the applicant in the application and during public meetings with the Planning Commission and City Council shall be adhered to and considered conditions of approval, unless otherwise amended by other conditions.
