A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MAYOR'S DEED BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO, AND CHARLES A. MAPLE AND BRYCE M. MAPLE, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID MAYOR'S DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council a
request for a Mayor's Deed from the City of Aspen to Charles A.
Maple and Bryce M. Maple, a copy of which deed is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby approves
that Mayor's Deed from the City of Aspen to Charles A. Maple and
Bryce M. Maple, a copy of which is annexed hereto and incorporat-
ed herein, and does hereby authorize the Mayor of the City of
Aspen to execute said lease on behalf of the City of Aspen.

THIS DEED made this ~7 day of ~t~_~ ,
1994, between the Mayor of the City of Aspen, John S. Bennett, of
the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado, Trustee for the East
Aspen Additional Townsite, of the first part, and Charles A.
Maple and Bryce M. Maple, of the County of Pitkin and State of
Colorado, of the second part, WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of August, A.D., 1958, a patent did
issue for the East Aspen Addition Townsite to the Mayor of the
Incorporated city of Aspen and to his successors and assigns in
trust for the occupants of said Townsite in accordance with their
respective interests, and said patent having been issued in
conformity with the Acts of Congress for such cases made and pro-
vided, and has been recorded as Document No. 106874, Book 185,
Page 69, of the records for Pitkin County;
WHEREAS, the second parties have complied with all require-
ments of law of the State of Colorado entitling them to a deed of
conveyance from the Mayor of Aspen as Trustee, to the lots or
parcels of land hereinafter described:
NOW, THEREFORE, the said first party, for and in consider,
ation of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to the first party in hand
paid by the said second parties, the receipt whereof is hereby
confessed and acknowledged has remised, released, granted, sold,
conveyed and quitclaimed unto the second parties, their heirs and
assigns forever, all right, title, interest, claim and demand
which the said first party has in and to the following described
lots or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the County of
Pitkin and State of Colorado, to wit:
A tract of land situated in the South one-half of Section 7,
Township 10 South, Range 84 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian, City of Aspen, Pitkin COunty, Colorado: being more
fully described as follows:
Commencing at Corner No. 11, East Aspen Additional Townsite,
a Bureau of Land Management Brass Cap Monument;
thence North 79034,30'' West, 143.21 feet to a point on the
southwesterly right-of-way boundary of Gibson Avenue as
located in the City of Aspen, said point being also located
on the westerly boundary of the Sunset Lode, MS 5310, the
true point of beginning;
thence South 62o54,41'' East, 31.65 feet along said Gibson
Avenue right-of-way boundary;
thence South 29017'09'' West, 105.62 feet to a point on the
northeasterly boundary of that tract of land described on
the document recorded in Book at Page of the
Official Records for Pitkin County;
thence North 65o20,31'' West, along said northeasterly bound-
ary 100.98 feet to a point of intersection with the south-
easterly right-of-way of Neale Avenue as located in the City
of Aspen;
thence northerly along said Neale Avenue southeasterly
right-of-way boundary, North 24°10'14'' East, 109.97 feet to
an intersection with the southwesterly right-of-way boundary
of Gibson Avenue;
thence southeasterly along said Gibson Avenue southwesterly
right-of-way boundary, South 62°54'41'' East, 78.89 feet to
the true point of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all and singular
and appurtenances and privileges thereunto belonging, or in
anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right, title,
interest and claim whatsoever, of the first party, either in law
or equity, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said
parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever·
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said'Mayor has hereunto set his hand
