HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.066-95 ".~','" ~1fr ~ "< 'e.,,'. j!;, . ~, , . iVe.., ~, "< RESOLUTION NO.~ (Series of 1995) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, SUPPORTING A MOTION FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY COMMITTEE (NAC) REQUESTING A COMPREHENSIVE TRAIL PLAN WITH THE ENTRANCE TO ASPEN DESIGN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) reviewed the DEIS for the Entrance to Aspen on August 17, 1995. At this meeting Alternative H was presented and discussed by the Committee; and WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) further discussed the DEIS for the Entrance to Aspen on September 7, 1995 at which time the Committee voted unanimously approved the following motion: No Final EIS shall be adopted unless a comprehensive bicycle, pedestrian, and nordic trail system is incorporated into the final design. WHEREAS, the Aspen city Council wishes to support this motion and incorporate this requirement into our comments to the Colorado Department of Transportation DEIS for the Entrance to Aspen. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO THAT: The following comments shall be incorporated into the city of Aspen response to the DEIS for the Entrance to Aspen: . -)!,,'" I. .
