Cf (Series of 1996) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ASPEN, COLORADO, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.5, SERIES OF 1993, WHICH ENDORSED AND ADOPTED POLICIES TO GUIDE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES. WHEREAS, the Aspen City Council adopted Resolution No.5, Series of 1993, to endorse and adopt certain policies to guide the City of Aspen and all of its departments in devising, approving and implementing plans and/or projects for the delivery of water services utilizing the City's water resources and municiplal water system; and WHEREAS, said resolution was amended by Resolution No. 49, Series of 1993, to clarify the intent of the policies previously adopted; and WHEREAS, it has been the intent of City Council to adopt a policy to extended new or 'e expanded existing water services beyond the city limits if the extension or expansion did not result in an operational financial deficit and the associated capita! costs are not bourne by the City; and WHEREAS , Resolution No.5, Series of 1993, unintentionally fails to mention capita! costs; and WHERAS, the City Council desires to amend the previously adopted policies to clarify their intent. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section I That paragraph 12 (iii) of the "Implementation" Section of Resolution No. 5 is hereby e amended to read as follows: e e ill. The extension or expansion will neither result in an operational financial deficit nor will the required capital costs be boume by the City of Aspen.
