AN ADVISORY QUESTION REGARDING THE CITY OF ASPEN'S
SMOKING ORDINANCE:
Please vote for ONLY ONE choice from the following four statements~
A. I believe that the City's current smoking regulations are about right and do not need to
be amended.
YES
B. I believe that the City's current smoking regulations are not strict enough and that
City Council should consider additional restrictions, such as prohibiting smoking in
public areas (for example, worksites and restaurant bar areas) where non-smokers are
exposed to second hand smoke. For restaurants, smolting would be allowed in their
bar areas only if those areas were completely separate & independently ventilated.
Smoking would still be allowed in bars, nightclubs, private clubs and cigar bars.
