Boogie's building is about ten years old and the request is to upgrade the entire store and it is basically an inside remodel. In the southwest comer they would like to add a cafe and redo the windows that face Cooper Street and make them operable. The existing two openings are about 16.4 feet wide. The proposal is for two sets of three double hung windows that would open. Commissioners discussed the muntin (piece that divides the two pieces of glass) and several thought possibly it should be eliminated or simplified. Kim indicated that the horizontal banding makes the windows look proportioned. MOTION: Roger moved to approve the minor development application for 534 E. Cooper Ave. as submitted; second by Susan.
