HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.051-04RESOLUTION NO. 51 (Series of 2004) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, APPOINTING TED GARDENSWARTZ AS A DEPUTY JUDGE OF THE MUNICIPAL cOURT OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, WITHOUT COMPENSATION, FOR THE DAY OF MAY 30, 2004, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF OFFICIATING AT A MARRIAGE. WHEREAS, Ted Gardenswartz is an attorney licensed in the State of Colorado and practicing law in Pitkin County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, said Ted Gardenswartz has requested a one day appointment by the City Council of the City of Aspen as a Deputy Municipal Judge in order to officiate at a wedding, and WHEREAS, the City Council has the power to make such an appointment, pursuant to Section 7.2(b) of the Charter of the City of Aspen; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That Ted Gardenswartz be and hereby is appointed a Deputy Judge of the Municipal Court of the City of Aspen, Colorado, without compensation, for the day of May 30, 2004, for the sole purpose of officiating at the marriage of Jonathan Lowsky and Lisa Hershey.
