Classic? Lisa said they were but the money is all lumped together. Does
this have to be a new buy? Lisa said yes.
Andrew said the small hotels did very well last year. The Gems of Aspen
(10) hotels should kick in a little. Some of the retailers might chip in for
Aspen Goes Bazaar. Andrew said he could see if Lisa Baker will help with
a gallery walk. Andrew asked what else Lisa needed from the CCLC?
Lisa said volunteers would be a great help.
Andrew said Lisa Weiss can take the lead and if she needs his help he
would be available.
Lisa Weiss said tying the gallery walk in with Aspen Goes Bazaar is a great
idea. Have a locally pitched event. Andrew said if the galleries
Can encourage each other to have music it would encourage locals to go to
our art galleries.
John said if we can get the galleries to do it that would be great.
Andrew said he would help Lisa Baker with the gallery walk which would
be Friday night.
Lisa Weiss said Thursday is the Cocktail Classic.
Friday would be all day Shopping and music with the gallery walk.
Lisa said she feels this event could grow into something like what Cherrv
Creek has. It is a great opportunity for retailers to turn their merchandis~
around.
Lisa also mentioned that she contacted the City to see if they could spend
money for good SMAS decorations. The Parks Dept. decOrates 90 light
polls and they have already ordered for this year. Maybe stores can take
ownership of their individual blocks to get more decorations.
Eric said the biggest partner in this should be the Ski Company.
Hanna Pevny said we work closely with the Ski Co. but we are trying to
help the businesses in the core to extend the Christmas shopping time. We

every dollar is spent in aspen from Snowmass. Hanna said the biggest
shopping day is the day after Thanksgiving.

Lisa said the ACRA and CCLC should go to council together to request the
funding for Aspen Goes Bazaar and the Holiday Promotion.
