Hopkins Ave Apartments, Madsen, S.E. a Sec. 12 T10S i LJ �/ A REQUEST: PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ASPEN The undersigned petitioner, being the sole landowner within the exterior boundary of the territory hereinafter des- cribed, respectfully requests the City Council of the City of Aspen to approve the annexation of the proposed area to be annexed in'accordance with the provisions of 1973 CRS Title 31, i Article 8, and in support thereof alleges: 1. It is necessary and desirable that the territory described below be annexed to the City of. Aspen. 2. The requirements of 1973 CRS Section 31-8-104 and 31-8-105 exist or have been met. 3. The petitioner is the sole owner of the territory sought to be annexed and therefore the owner of more than 50% of the territory sought to be annexed. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The legal description of the land owned by Petitioner for which annexation is sought is attached hereto as Exhibit A. (Series of 1975) AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A•TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY 700 IiOPKINS AVENUE APARTMENTS, A GENERAL PARTNERSHIP (SAID TRACT CON- TAINING 2272 SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS) AND ANNEXING SAID PROPERTY ACCOPDING TO THE COLORADO MUNICIPAL ANNEXATION ACT - WHEREAS, there has been submitted a petition for annexation by 7.00 Hopkins Avenue Apartments, a general partnership, of Aspen, Colorado, which petition has been pre- sented pursuant to the provisions of the Colorado Municipal Annexation Act of 1965, C..R.S. 1973, Title 31, Article 8 thereof, and WHEREAS, :aid petition has been considered by the City Council of the City of Aspen, and said City council having found that: 1.
