WHEREAS,

THE CENTES~IAL/BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION; AND RESTRICTING THE USE
OF SAID FUNDS
there remains unappropriated water fund
City Council wishes to allocate some of these
revenues to help fund the activities of the Aspen Centennial/
Bicentennial Committee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That there be transferred from unappropriated water
revenues to the General Fund the amount of Four Thousand
($4,000.90) Dollars as follows:

Transfer to General Fund

Tha% there be appropriated from General Fund Revenues
the amount of Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars to fund the
Centennial/Bicentennial commission as follows:

Section 3
The use of the funds herein appropriated are restricted
as follows: None of the amounts herein appropriated shall, in
any event, be used by the Centennial/Bicentennial Commission for
the employment of any band, bands or orchestra to be used in
conjunction with the proposed Centennial/Bicentennial Ball to be
held on July 3, 1976.
Section 4
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid pro-
visions or applications, and to this end the provisions or
applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 5
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on the
28th day of April, 1975, at 5 P.M. in the city Council Chambers,
Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by
law by the City Council of the City of Aspen, at its regular
meeting held April 14, !975.~~
