AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNAPPROPRIATED SEVENTH PENNY SALES
TAX PROCEEDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,550.00 FOR PAYMENT OF THE
UNDERGROUND OFF-STREET PARKING STUDY, ~INIBUS INTEREST PAY-
MENTS, THE CITY OF ASPEN CONTRIBUTION TO THE UMTA GRANT STUDY
COSTS, AND COST OF REGRADING THE RIO GRANDE PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request for
contribution to the costs of additional studies in support of
the light rail UMTA grant application, and wishes to make
additional appropriation to cover the costs of the minibus pur-
chase, an underground parking feasibility report, and the regrad-
ing of the Rio Grande parking lot, all appropriate expenditures
from Seventh Penny Sales Tax Proceeds,
i~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That there be appropriated Twenty Thousand Five Hundred
Fifty ($20,550.00) Dollars from Seventh Penny Sales Tax Revenues
for the support of various transportation activities, as follows:
Transportation Fund Tax
(Seventh Penny Sales Tax)
Decrease Unappropriated Revenues
Transfer to Mall Fund
(Pizzagalli Report)
Transfer to Public Transit Fund
(Minibus Interest and UMTA
Grant Application Costs)
Rio Grande Parking Lot Regrading

ation thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or
applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
