ORDINANCE No. 77
(Series of 1975)
AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING ADDITIONAL SEVENTH PENNY SALES TAX
REVENUES AS WELL AS REIMBURSEMENT FROM PITKIN COUNTY FOR THE
TRANSIT BUDGET AND SUBDIVISION DEDICATION FEES; APPROPRIATING
THESE AND OTHER REVENUES TO THE TRANSIT SYSTEM FOR THE HOPKINS
STREET FOOT BRIDGE MAINTENANCE, FOR RIO GRANDE IMPROVEMENTS,
FOR TH~ THOMAS PROPERTY ACQUISITION AND MALL MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that there is
available for appropriation excess Seventh Penny Sales Tax
Proceeds, subdivision dedication fees and amounts reimbursed
from Pitkin County as
transit system,
NOW, THEREFORE,
its contribution for operation of the
BE IT ORDAINED BY TH~ CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLCRADO:
Section 1
That revenues be recognized and appropriated from the
Seventh Penny Sales Tax Fund as follows:

Section 2.
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the
invalid provisions or applications, and to this end the
provisions or applications of the ordinance are declared to
be severable.
Section 3.
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on
the 10th day of November 1975, at 5:00 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers, Aspen, City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
