WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize unanticipated
revenues within the Water Department, approve additional expenditures,
and make such action effective before the end of the calendar year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE cITY cOUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
-That revenues be recognized and expenditures be approved
within the Water Department as follows:
Water Fund
Unanticipated PIF Revenue
Interest Income
Sale of Stock
commercial Service Fees
Red Mountain storage Tank
Greater Aspen Development corporation
(tap fee rebates-required by contract)
Ridge of Red Mountain pumping Station

Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall
not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which
can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications,
and to this end the provisions or applications of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
Section 3
That it is hereby declared that an emergency exists requir-
ing the immediate adoption of this ordinance inasmuch as all
budget ordinances for 1975 revenues or expenditures must be fully
approved by the City's governing body before the end of this calendar
year; that this ordinance be approved only by the unanimous vote
of councilmen present or a vote of five councilmen, whichever is les~;
that this ordinance be passed at two meetings of council; that
neither a public hearing nor first publication be required; that
this ordinance be published within ten (10) days after final passage,
and that it take effect upon final passage.
