ORDINANCE NO. ~7
(Series of 1976)
AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING $264,067.00 OF UNAPPROPRIATED CURRENT YEAR
REVENUES AND PRIOR YEAR RETAINED EARNINGS IN THE WATER FUND; AND
APPROPRIATING FROM THE WATER FUND AMOUNTS FOR IMPROVING DITCH RIGHTS
($42,067.00), FOR THE TRUEMAN PROPERTY WATER TRANSMISSION LINE
($9,000.00), FOR WATER HYDRANTS ($6,000.00), FOR REPLACEMENT PAVING
ON THE GALENA STREET WATER LINE ($2,000.00), AND FOR STORM SEWER CON-
STRUCTION ($205,000.90).
~'~EREAS, hhe City Manager has advised that there are unappropri-
ated water revenues (including prior year retained earnings) available
for appropriation and the City Council wishes to authorize expenditures
from the same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That revenues be recognized and appropriated from the Water
Fund in the following manner:

Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall

not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which
can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications,
and to this end the provisions or applications of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on the /~
