AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE TERESE DAVID
PROPERTY (LOTS K, L and M OF BLOCK 73,
ORIGINAL ASPEN TOWNSITE) AS HISTORIC
STRUCTURES AND SITE PURSUANT TO ARTICLE IX OF
CHAPTER 24 OF THE ASPEN MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the Aspen Historical Preservation Committee
and Planning and Zoning Commission have forwarded a recommendation
to the Council supportive of the designation of the Terese David
property as historic structures and site and the City Council
wishes to pursue that recommendation and complete the designa-
tion process.
JOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That the following structures and site be and hereby
are determined to have historic significance and that the
following described property be designated as an H Historic
Overlay District pursuant to the provisions of Article IX
of Chapter 24 of the Aspen Municipal Code.
Lots K, L and M of Block 73, Original Aspen
Townsite, Pitkin County, Colorado (The Terese
David Residence and Shop).
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.

Section 3
That a public hearing be held on this ordinance on
~ ~ , 1976, at 5:00 P.M.
in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Aspen, Colorado,
fifteen (15) days prior to which hearing notice of the same
shall be published once in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Aspen.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided
by law by the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
at its regular meeting held at the City of Aspen, on the
