ORDINANCE NO. 49
(Series of 1977)
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $16,158 FROM EXCESS
ELECTRIC FUND REVENUES TO THE GENERAL FUND AND
MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $16,158 FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE RED
MOUNTAIN REPEATER SITE ($8,500), FOR A cOMMUNI-
CATIONS DIRECTOR ($2,300), ~OR POLICE DEPARTMENT
OVERTIME ($2,000), AND FOR THE cOMMUNICATIONS
AND RECORDS CENTER ($3,358)
WHEREAS, the city Manager has advised the City Council
that there is available $19,515 in excess Electric Fund Revenues;
and
WHEREAS, the city Council wishes to transfer $16,158
from excesS Electrical Fund Revenues to the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to make a supplemental
appropriation from the General Fund for the Red Mountain
Repeater Site, for a communications Director, Police Department
overtime, and for the communications and Records Center,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1
That $16,158 of excess Electric Fund Revenues be
transferred to the General Fund. Section 2
That a supplemental appropriation be made from the
General Fund for the Red Mountain Repeater Site in the amount
of $8,300.
Section 3
That a supplemental appropriation be made from the
General Fund for a communications Director in the amount of
$2,300.
Section 4

General Fund for Police Department overtime in the amount of
$2,000.
Section 5
That a supplemental appropriation be made from the General
Fund for the communications and Records Center in the amount of
$3,358.
Section 6
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable-
Section 7
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on

Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided
by law by the city Council of the City of Aspen, colorado, at
