(Series of 1979)
AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING ADDITIONAL UNANTICIPATED SALES TAX COL-
LECTIONS FROM THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE PITKIN COUNTY 2% SALES TAX
IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,000.00, RECOGNIZING OTHER UNANTICIPATED
REVENUES IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,658.00, AND TRANSFERS FROM THE
REVENUE SHARING FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,962.00, APPROPRIATING
GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $106,813.00

WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are avail-
able for appropriation additional revenues and transfers in excess
of those estimated in the budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
recognized unanticipated, additional revenues from sources speci-
fied in Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in
the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropri-
ation of General Fund expenditures in the amount of $106,813.00
for the purposes specified in the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
