HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.012-64Series of 1964 AN ORDINANCE AISRDI~ TITLE 7/, CHAPTER l~ THE ZON~ OF ~ C~ OF AS~ CO~, ~ P~V~B FOR ~ DIS~ICT, ~ ~ EST~LISH U~ ~ ~TIO~ BE IT ORI~I~ J~/ the City Council of the City of As~en, Colorado= Section 1= Subsection (a) of Section 11-1-2 of Chapter 1, Title XI is hereby amended, in its entirety, to read as followsz '(a) Establishment of Districts= In order to carry out the provisions of this Chapter, the City of Aspen, Colorado, is hereby divided into the following zoned districts= R6, Residential District R15, Residential District T, Tourist District B, Business District U, Unrestricted Districtm Section 2z The official code of Aspen is hereby amended By adding a section, to be numbered 11-1-4(~) which section shall read as follows: '11-1-4(1) ~15, Residential District: (a) Uses Permitted: Any use permitted in the X-6 District, subject to all requiremunts specified for such R-6 District, unless otherwise stated herein. (h) #ininanu Lot Area: Unsubdivided land - one acre Subdivided land - 15,000 square (c) Minimum Lot Ad.a: Unsubdiv~ed land - 150 feet Subdivided land - 75 feet feet MinimumFront Yard Setback: Principal and Accessory Buildings - front property line. 25 feet from (e) Min/mum Side amd Rear Yard Setback: Principal and Accessory Buildings - 10 feet from side and rear property lines. (f) Maximum Height of Buildings - 25 feet. Section 3: The City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, hereby finds, determines and declares that an emergency exists, and that this ordinance is necessary for the ~umediate preservation of public peace, health and safety. Clerk Mayor Finally adopted and approved this ~ day of Mayor c cl.rk -2- O~IN~CE NO. /7/ SERIES of the C~ty of Aspen, Colorado~ do hereby certify that the aforego~g Ordinance was ~troduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City of Aspen on the said City Council was published as a proposed ordinance as the law directs and for mo~e than ten days prior to its passage in the Aspen Times, legal newspaper; and that on proposed Ordinance was read and passed by the City Council aforesaid, the said meeting of said City Council being a regular meeting, and ordered published in the aforesaid newspaper as the law directs.
