AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 4 (Series of 1956) AND
DECLARING AN ~MERGENCY TO EXIST.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4 (Series of 1956) entitled,
"AN ORDINANCE CP~EATING A PUBLIC UTILITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF ASPEN
TO OPERATE AND MANAGE ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES NOW OWNED OR LATER TO
BE ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ASPEN; PRESCRIBING THE POWERS AND DUTIES
OF SAID BOARD AND PROVIDING DETAILS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH," shall
be, and St is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and the
immediate passage of this Ordinance is necessary for the public
peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Aspen,
Colorado, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after its final publicatbn.
INTRODUCED, READ and ORDERED published this 16th day of
May, A. D. 1960.
