AN ORDINANCE MAKING ANNUAL APPROPRIATION OF MONEYS AMD FUNDS TO
COVER EXPENDITuHES TO BE MADE BY THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, AS
PROVIDED BY ITS BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR'COMMENCING JANUARY l,
1952, AND~ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1952, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ASPEN:
Section 1. That this ordinance shall be ~nown and termed
as the Annual Appropriation Bill for the City of Aspen, Colorado,
for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January, 1952,
and ending on the 31st day of December, 1952, inclusive.
Section 2. That the sums or amounts of money hereinafter
set out are termed to be necessary to defray the expenses and
liabilities of said City during said fiscal year. That the
revenue to be collected by said City during said fiscal year is
hereby appropriated to defray all necessary expenses and liabili-
ties of said City and that said appropriation is hereby made for
the objects, purposes and in the respective amounts as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Mayor's and Aldermen's Salaries .... $ 780.00
Clerk's Salary and Expenses ...... 800.00
Treasurer's Fees and Expenses ..... 1,000.00
Marshalls' Salaries .......... 6,000.00
Streets and Alleys .......... 25,000.00
City Park Fund ........... 300.00
City Building Fund .......... 4,500.00
Fire Department Expenses ....... 3,000.00

Section 3. That the Budget for the City of Aspen, Colorado,
is set at $50,380.00, plus three mills on general taxes collected
and beginning January l, 1952 and ending December 31, 1952.
Section 4. That all unexpended balances remaining to the cre-
dit of any appropriation herein made, after all bills and accounts
have been paid, shall revert to and be transf~erred to the respective
fund from which such appropriation was originally dmawn.
Introduced, read and ordered published as provided by law by
the City Council of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular meeting held at
said City of Aspen,
