AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN ANNUAL LEVY ON ALL TAXABLE PRO-
PERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIlE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADC
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1955 AND ENDING
DECEMBER 31, 1955.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO:
That there is hereby levied on each dollar of assessed valua-
tion of all taxable property within the City of Aspen, Colorado, for the
fiscal year commencing January l, 1955 and ending December 31, 1955,
the following taxes:
Section 1. For the purpose of defraying the general expense
of the City, the sum of 15 Mills.
Section 2. For the redemption and interest on bonds, the
sum of 2 Mills.
Total levy, 17 Mills.
Introduced, read and ordered published as provided by law
by the City Council of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular meeting held at
said City of Aspen, on this 4th day of October A. D. 1954.

I, Ethel M. Frost, as City Clerk of the City of Aspen,
Colorado, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance
was introduced, read in full and passed first reading at the regular
meeting of the City Council held October 4th, 1954, and published
in The Aspen Times, a weekly newspaper of general circulation
published at the City of Aspen, Colorado, in its issue of October
/¥ , 1954, and was finnally adopted and approved on

(Series of 1954) of said City, as provided by law.
