HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.013-85RESOLUTION NO. 13 (Series of 198~ WHEREAS, Dick Knecht has ably and faithfully served as Councilmember of the City of Aspen, Colorado, for four years, and such outstanding service has contributed to the continued prosperity of the City and the accomplishment of its goals, and need and WHEREAS, Dick brought to to keep the City clean the attention of this community the and in excellent working condition, WHEREAS, Dick actively represented the City Council as a member of the Pitkin County Parks Association, and WHEREAS, Dick supported the potential utilization of trolleys in the city's transportation network, and WHEREAS, Dick was a continual champion of City employees, and WHEREAS, Dick worked to enhance communication between the Board of County Commissioners and the City Council, and WHEREAS, Dick supported the on-going preservation of Aspen's Victorian heritage, and WHEREAS, Dick was a key link between the City Council and the business community, and WHEREAS, Dick never managed to sit in the same seat for one entire meeting without circling the entire Council Chambers, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, that by this resolution, Dick Knecht be and hereby is commended for his service to the City of Aspen, and that this commendation be spread upon the public records of this city.
