HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.004-84RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves RESOLUTION NO. 4 (Series of 1984) WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 24-11.6(a) of the Municipal Code, October 1 of each year is established as a deadline for submission of applications for lodge development allotments within the L-3 zone district in the City of Aspen; and WHEREAS, two projects competed for lodge units in the L-3 zone dis- trict for a total of seven (7) units; and WHEREAS, the quota available in the L-3 zone for this competition is ten (10) units; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was conducted on November 8, 1983, by the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission to consider the L-3 Growth Management Applications and evaluate and score them in conformance with criteria established in Ordinance 38 (Series of 1982) which amended Section 24-11.6 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the projects met the required thresholds in the Planning and Zoning Commission scoring; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends to Council that since the existence of twenty (20) parking spaces has been verified by the Aspen, the allocation of three (3) lodge units be awarded to them. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Aspen, Colorado: Section 1 A lodge development allotment is hereby awarded to The Aspen for three (3) lodge units. Section 2 The allocation of three (3) lodge units to The Aspen shall be subject to the Parking Plan attached which provides twenty (20) parking spaces subject to the following conditions: All lodge traffic shall be required to exit the site via the alley. This eliminates a mid-block conflict on Main Street. Installation of clearly visible signing to indicate "No Exit" onto Main Street. Signing to indicate the parking lot exit to the alley. Th~ parking spaces be physically delineated by striping on the parking lot this spring (1984). RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves Section 3 The available quota for this L-3 lodge competition was ten (10) units. Seven (7) units were awarded. The remaining three (3) units are hereby carried over to next year's L-3 competition. lodge I, Kathryn S.
