Galena Aspen, CO 81611 To whom it may concern: It gives me great pleasure to join with my sisters, Carolyn Stein Shohet and Pat Stein Spitzmiller, in gifting to the City of Aspen the bronze sculpture, END OF TIlE TRAIL by James Fraser - 1918. This sculpture purchased by our father Henry Stein in 1962 commanded an important spot on a large granite rock between our two houses until the ranch was sold last fall. It means a lot to be able to make this contribution in memory of our parents, Marge and Henry Stein, to the town they settled in and loved throughout their lifetimes. We know that it would please them tremendously. I hope that many residents and visitors alike will gain pleasure in viewing this wonderful piece of the American West.
