HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.026-74RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves RESOLUTION NO.~___ (Series of 1974) WHEREAS, David E. Barbee, John W. Barbee and Hallie B. Rugheimer have submitted a Petition for Annexation pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965, and WHEREAS, said applicants have tendered with said Petition four prints of an annexation map which said Petition and maps satisfy the requirements of Section 139-21-6, C.R.S. 1963, as amended, and WHEREAS, said Section 139-21-6 states that when a petition and maps are tendered which substantially comply with the requirements of said section, the City Council shall approve the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: 1. That the petition and attached maps for annexation of the following described tract are found to be in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 139-21-6, C.R.S. 1963, as amended: A parcel of land being part of the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 13, Township 10 South, Range 85 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. Said parcel is more fully described as follows: Beginning at a point whence the northeast corner of said Section 13 bears East 1320.00 feet; thence East 373.73 feet; thence S 42023' E, 477.44 feet to the West line of Garmisch Street; thence S 14050'49`' W, 77.41 feet along the West line of Garmisch Street to the northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 5, Eames Addition; thence thence thence thence thence thence thence N 75°09'11" W 346.50 feet; S 14051' W, 1,015.21 feet; West 80.61 feet; North 171.67 feet; N 14057' E, 650.59 feet; N 75003' W, 173.72 feet; North 474.94 feet to the point of beginning.
