RESOLUTION NO. ~
(Series of 1974)
WHEREAS, JIM ADAMS has served on the Aspen
Planning and Zoning Commission continuously from
August, 1970 to the present and as its chairman
from November of 1972, and
WHEREAS, during his tenure JIM ADAMS has
given freely of his time to the strengthening
of city planning, most specifically to the inte-
gration of land use
ations, and
WHEREAS,
has requested

that the City Council commend JIM
ADAMS and that this commendation be made of record,
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the
contribution of JIM ADAMS and is most anxious to
acknowledge his concern for the City of Aspen and
his contributions of time and effort in its behalf,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
1. That JIM ADAMS be, and hereby is, commended
for his many contributions to the workings of the Aspen
Planning and Zoning Commission which have facilitated
the implementation of many planning goals of this
community and enhanced its viability as a unique
mountain town and resort.

2. That this commendation be made a matter of
public record and that a copy hereof be forwarded to
JIM ADAMS on its adoption.
