RESOLUTION
I~]EI~, the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, has ~eceived
infoz~aation to the effect that the Rio Grande Railroad may be entez%aining plans
to effect relocation of its railroad terminal from Aspen to Woody Creek; and
~EIEREA~, the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, is of the
opinion that said railroad has Been of great economic Benefit to.',the City and
its continued p~esence will be necessary to the economic prosperity of the City;
NO~, THEREFOr. ~ IT HEREBY RE~LVED that the City Council of the City
of Aspen, Colorado, wishes to ~ecord its opposition to any removal of the rail-
road station and tez~ainal and railroad yards from its p~esent locati~ in the
City of Aspen, Colorado.
