HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.002-62RESOLUTION WHEREAS, by reason of construction, maintenance and repair of city streets which were necessary for the welfare of the inhabitants of Aspen and the cost thereof by reason of necessity could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the Budget for 1962, and by reason thereof the General Fund has been depleted and it is necessary that there be transferred from the Water Operating Fund to the General Fund the sum of $9,383.28, which 8~nount had heretofore been transferred from the General Fund to the Water Operating Fund, WHEREAS the expense for construction, maintenance and repair of said streets does not cause the City to exceed the budget for the M~ar 1962, and it is advisable for said transfer of funds to be authorized by the City Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That there shall be and is hereby transferred from the Water Operating Fund to the General Fund the sum of $9~383.28. 2. That the City Clerk and the City Treasurer shall be and they are hereby authorized to effect the transfer of said amount on the books of account of the City of Aspen.
